Upsell

In short
A larger or faster version of what someone has just bought, offered straight after.
In plain English
An offer made immediately after a purchase, for something that does more of what the buyer already wanted — more support, faster results, a done-for-you version.
The moment matters: the buyer has just decided you are worth paying.
A real example
After buying a self-study course, being offered the same course with four group calls for £200 more.
Why it matters
An upsell is legitimate when it genuinely serves the person who just bought. It becomes resented when the original purchase turns out to have been deliberately incomplete.
