Squeeze Page

In short
A single-purpose page that trades something free for an email address.
In plain English
A page with one job and nothing else on it: no navigation, no outbound links, no second offer. The visitor either takes the free thing in exchange for their email address, or leaves.
The name comes from the narrowing — everything that could send someone elsewhere is stripped out.
A real example
A page offering "The 12-Point Website Checklist" with a headline, three bullets, one email field and a button. That is the entire page.
Why it matters
It is the shortest writing you will do and the hardest, because there is no room to explain yourself. It is also where AI is most likely to overpromise on your behalf: short persuasive copy rewards bold claims, and a model asked for punchier headlines will supply subscriber counts and results you never gave it.
