AI Brief

In short
A document about your business that you paste in before you ask for anything.
In plain English
A short file holding the facts a model cannot know: who you serve, what you sell, what is included, what your buyers actually say, what you can prove, and a sample of your own writing. You paste it at the start of a session, and everything after it is answered against your business rather than the average one.
Not a prompt. A prompt is the request; the brief is the context the request runs against.
A real example
Without one: "write me a service page" produces a competent page for the average of every business that has ever needed one. With a brief pasted in first, the same six words produce a page using your inclusions, your buyers' phrasing and your proof — because the model finally has something specific to work from.
Why it matters
Most disappointment with AI writing is an input problem wearing an output problem's clothes. A model asked to write with no specifics fills every gap with the most likely thing, and the most likely thing is the average. The brief is also the part you keep: you build it once and reuse it, so the second page costs an hour rather than a day.
