How to Close More Sales with AI 3 min read

Introduction

The Three Moments Where Deals Are Won or Lost

Coaches, consultants, freelancers, B2B sellers, service providers, and SaaS founders all sell the same way: one discovery call (an initial conversation to understand whether there's a fit), one proposal, one follow-up at a time.

What determines whether those deals close is how well the seller prepared, how quickly they followed up, and how they responded when the prospect went quiet or pushed back. Most one-to-one sellers do all three inconsistently, which is why some deals close and others go cold for reasons they can't fully explain.

In this workshop, you’ll use AI at the three specific moments where one-to-one sales most often break down: before the conversation, after the conversation, and when things stall.

When you use it with the right inputs, it helps you prepare faster, follow up while momentum is still warm, and respond with confidence when a prospect goes quiet or raises an objection.

There are no new tools to learn and no new methodology. It’s a repeatable system you can start using for your next real sales opportunity.

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the end of this workshop, you'll have a personal AI-assisted sales system built around your offer, with reusable prompts and templates you can use immediately.

You'll have:

  • A clear picture of where your sales process breaks down most, and one real situation to build your system around

  • A completed AI Sales Brief with your offer, outcomes, and voice documented in one place

  • Prep notes ready for a specific upcoming sales conversation, with the right questions, an angle, and a sense of what to expect

  • A next-step communication drafted for the conversation you most recently had or are preparing for

  • A set of ready-to-use follow-up message templates for the situations you run into most

Most of the work in this workshop happens inside your AI tool. The workbook is where you make decisions and capture what matters, not where you copy full drafts. Save your AI outputs in a place you can reuse them later.

A Note on How to Use AI in Sales

AI is a thinking and drafting partner, not a replacement for selling ability. It’s not a way to bypass learning the fundamentals, and it’s not a way to automate your way out of real conversations. What it does is handle the parts of the sales process that tend to get improvised or avoided: the preparation that never happens and the follow-up email that sits in your drafts folder.

AI output is only as good as the inputs you give it. Before you prompt AI for anything else in this workshop, you’ll build a short brief that AI can draw from every time.

Action Steps:

  1. Write down where your last three sales conversations most often broke down: before, after, or in the follow-up.

  2. Choose one real situation to build your system around: a prospect you're currently talking to, a proposal you need to send, or a deal that's gone quiet.

  3. Write down what you want to be able to do differently by the time you complete this workshop.
