How to Write Your Sales Pages with AI 3 min read
Introduction
Your offer is ready, but your sales page is holding up the launch. Writing it yourself keeps moving down your to-do list, hiring a copywriter costs more than this launch is likely to bring in, and when you asked an AI tool to write it for you, what came back read like every other website on the internet.
AI needs to know your business before it can write for it. You can tell it what you're selling, but it still doesn't know who you're selling to, what makes your offer different from the similar ones out there, or how you sound when you write. If it’s left to guess, it falls back on the millions of sales pages it was trained on and hands you an average of all of them.
You have the context AI needs
You know who buys from you, what makes your offer worth the price tag, and how you talk to your customers. This workshop gets it out of your head and into a form your AI can use. The whole process takes about an afternoon, and works the same whether you're writing your first sales page or replacing one that isn't selling.
One Page, One Job
A sales page is a standalone web page with one job: turn the reader into a buyer of your offer. Readers arrive by clicking a link in your emails, posts, ads, or bio, and the buy button is right there on the page. If something on the page isn't helping make that sale, it doesn't belong there.
You supply the raw material, your AI writes the first drafts, and then you work back and forth with it until the page says what you mean, in the way you'd say it. Every final decision is yours.
Any chat-based AI tool works: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or whatever you already have. If you’re new to AI, the AI Chat for Beginners included with this workshop will walk you through the basics.
Meet Maya and Ben
Two examples are used throughout this workshop so you can see each step in action before doing it with your own offer.
Maya is a career coach launching Interview Ready, a six-week group coaching program priced at $497. Ben runs an online shop selling dog toys and training supplies. He's launching a $39-a-month enrichment box with a puzzle feeder, a chew, and a training exercise for the month.
Maya's business is featured in every step. Ben's is added wherever selling a physical product calls for a different approach. You'll then complete the same step for your own offer, using the exercises and prompts in your workbook.
What You’ll Learn in This Workshop
By the end of this workshop, you'll have a finished sales page for one of your offers, ready to publish, along with the AI brief and prompts you can reuse for the next one. You’ll walk away with:
- A clear offer and AI tool picked, so you're not starting from a blank page.
- Your offer facts, your buyers' own words, and your proof, all in one place AI can use.
- A reusable AI brief you'll use for this sales page, and each one after it.
- A complete sales page draft, written section by section instead of all at once.
- A page that sounds like you, not like every other AI-written site.
- A finished sales page checked and ready to publish with a real date on the calendar.
Action Steps:
- Write down your sales page’s offer and whether it’s a new page or a replacement for one that isn't selling.
- Choose the AI tool you'll use for the workshop.
